Steps in Writing Argumentative Politics Essay

Writing the politics essay can be done using few short steps. These steps group together to form an essay technique you can use as your own.
  • Show Current Awareness – Start your politics essay with an introduction that demonstrates your awareness of the most recent events and developments. You can state your stand in the introduction or you can put it off until the conclusion. What is important is that you point out to differing sides in the issue you will be discussing.
  • Have Balance – In the discussion portion or body of your politics essay, you should use many concrete examples. Use a good balance of the most recent and classic ones. Practice balance if presenting two opposing sides in the issue is called for. Give both sides the same amount and quality of assertion. You should use supporting data which are credible and reliable.
  • Give Essay Answer – Your essay should be an answer because a topic is a question itself. You can state your answer in the introduction or in the conclusion. In the former, it is like supporting an answer you have given. While in the latter, it is like presenting data towards reaching a conclusion. On both cases, your introduction should give an overview of the essay and your conclusion must summarise what has been discussed.
  • Use References and Sources – You should use academic theory and reputable sources in your discussion. One way to make sure your readers and professor knows that you are answering the essay question is by using the words used in the essay question, instruction or title given.
  • Give One Big Reason – Because you are dealing with a debate, you should come up with a decision. In your conclusion, state your stand and give one big reason that made you choose the side. If this is not possible, you can choose two or three closely related reasons.
For difficulties in any of these, you can approach your professor, friends or an essay service who can help you.
